Wilmslow is an affluent town 11 miles South of Manchester City Centre, offering a range of housing primarily in the upper quartile of the market traditionally being a haven for professional sportsmen and those employed in the media.

Wilmslow train station offers a direct line to London taking just over two hours and the M60 Manchester ring road can easily be accessed via the A34 bypass. For those who love foreign travel, Manchester Airport is just a 15-minute drive. From designer boutiques and upmarket interior designers to chic charity shops and Hooper's department store, Wilmslow is a small place with a big attitude.

Only a short drive away Handforth Dean Retail Park offers a plethora of large stores including a John Lewis, Marks and Spencer’s, and Next as well for the fitness fanatics Total Fitness, one of the largest gyms in Europe. Foodies are also well catered for in Wilmslow, The Cheshire Smokehouse boasts an outstanding delicatessen, scrumptious patisserie, wine shop, and a café that serves legendary Saturday brunches.

The town is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors to take a stroll along the River Bollin towards Styal Village and Quarry Bank Mill. Quarry Bank Mill is one of the best-preserved textile mills of the Industrial Revolution, and the evocative Victorian apprentice house was home to hundreds of young children who were sent to work in the mill.

The sought-after villages of Alderley Edge and Prestbury are a stone’s throw from Wilmslow and each offers a mixture of property types, ranging from period cottages to ten-bedroom ultra-contemporary homes. Alderley Edge is renowned for its restaurants and nightlife and is ideal for those who enjoy the glitzy and the glamour. In the centre of Alderley Edge is a lovely four-acre park and there are wonderful views to be had on ‘The Edge’.

Close to the village are the outstanding Ryleys Preparatory school and Alderley Edge School for Girls Prestbury in contrast offers a more relaxed feel than Alderley Edge and is one of the most expensive villages outside of London. There are a large number of listed buildings within the village, many within the conservation area. The roads surrounding Prestbury mainly comprise bespoke mansions, with many new developments in recent years.

Prestbury is served by the Manchester to Macclesfield to Stoke-on-Trent railway line which makes it ideal for the discerning commuter.
